    hi guys,

    1. sometimes, espacially when i change a previous made citation, the shotcut 'double ctrl' does not fill in the citation at the cursors position, but at another position within the same paragraph. this does not happen constantly, but from time to time. it's bad because it cites at places, i don't want to cite anything.

    2. another real problem: if i cite more than one reference within parantheses at the same position, for example: (Ueding 2008: 83; Mondada 2010: 7f.), and i want to cite different pages as i did in the example, it's just not possible. It always changes both of the pages. so: either I get (Ueding 2008: 83; Mondada 2010: 83) or (Ueding 2008: 7f.; Mondada 2010: 7f.). crazy!

    3. If i have the same author with two references from the same year, manuscrpts automically produces one like (Mondada 2010) and one like (Mondada 2010b). so far so good. but if i change it later and delete one of them, I can't get rid of the b. even though only one of them stays in the text. That makes absolutely no sense and the only way to get rid of the 'b' ist to do it while layouting the last version in word or something else.

    thanks

    hi guys,

here is the problem: i'm using manuscripts and papers 3 and for some reason manuscripts produces other citations than papers would do. here's one example:

in papers the citation would look like this:

Fricke, E., 2007: Origo, Geste und Raum. Bd. 24, S. 1–416, Berlin [u.a.]: de Gruyter.

...and that would work for me. but manuscripts cites the same source as:

    Fricke, E., 2007: Origo, Geste und Raum. 24: 1-416

in both apps, i've choosen the same citation format: Soziologie (German) (Springer Verlag). so the city is missing, some other small things are diffferent.

so, i have to fix it by hand, reference by reference which costs a lot of time (and a deadline).

even though, i like to work with the app. i'hoping you get the bugs fixed. to be honest - citing is too worst for productive working at the moment.

    best
    ingmar
