@mz2 thank you. Indeed they are. But because we don't want to get things boring, I have a new one for you: when I export as .pdf the line numbering is exported as well. My guess is, that that is not the intended behavior (at least I would find the feature more useful without exported line numbering) ;-)

rights of /texlive in usr/local and rights of /2015 in usr/local/texlive as seen in screenshot
--> no write access but that should be not issue, shouldn't it?

When focus mode is activated, only the focused section and the one before and after are exported in the file->export as pdf action. The export also contains the "previous" (section) button and the text coloring (where prev and next section are grey)

    • When I copy text from a document it is not shown in any Clipboard history (Alfred 2, Paste).
    • When I paste content (which happens event though point 1) and undo the paste, both occurrences of the string vanish
    • Issue 2 does not happen happen when I cut text (issue 1 remains for that as well). But: the cursor moves it's position so I paste where I don't want to (at least I can undo without loosing the text)
    • Performance (even only a selection of 3 words in a short 3 page document) is incredibly bad (2s wait before operation occurs).

@mz2 unfortunately this still is not fixed for me (same error message). All latex related tools work.

Can confirm that bug. I use the update channel dropdown in the settings to recheck for updates since 1.0.

@mz2 sideways arrows in the cite popover are clickable when I have multiple cites in a paragraph (meaning they are displayed as inactive in cases where only one cite exists in a paragraph even though multiple cites exist within the section / document).
Is the behavior that this navigation only works within a paragraph and not between multiple ones intended?

Ah, my bad. Haven't used the words in a differentiated manner.
What I meant is I would love the outline structure to not only focus the current section but also expand it and mark the current paragraph (as many file browsers do when the user browses the file structure) when the user has chosen the option "Show paragraphs in outline".

This is still an issue in 1.0.10: cursor is moving beyond or within the pasted content; pasting inside unordered lists is often impossible.

I would like to report one bug with paragraphs and one behavior I could imagine improving:

    • deleting a paragraph by marking the text of the paragraph and deleting it does not remove the paragraph in the outline but leaves it there greyed out
    • focussing a paragraph could focus not only the parent title in the outline but also unfold and show the paragraph as focused

Can confirm that latex installation path is set. I can't choose nonsensical paths as well due to the automatic recognition that no latex installation can be found thereunder.

As of 1.0.10 the failure changed though: now I get the message that the "launch path [is] not accessible". So somehow Manuscipt can't get access to Latex after all? Weren't there changes which broke MacTex for El Capitan? Could this be a 10.11 specific issue?

I think when the cursor is inside a list, the list formatting button should be in an active state. Clicking it would toggle the state as list item off and thereby transform the text of the focused list item to plain text.

When I paste content, often my cursor ends up in the middle or even before instead of at the end of the pasted content.
Also, I can't paste URLs (without any formatting) into the first list item of an unordered list.

@mz2 I tried both /usr/locale/texlive as well as /usr/locale/texlive/2015. Setup: El Capitan, latest MacTex (freshly installed on El Capitan)
