@mcnurlenm Yes, it crashes very often. I suggest you use it only for inserting references not for full document editing. The app now is in uncertainty because the paper3 has been bought by Redcube, which is going to have a new app.

I guess the app is already put on hold. At least for now. The papers3 app has been bought by ReadCube. They will roll out a new app with papers3's functions in it. Therefore, Manuscripts will wait for that new app coming out if it will not be abandoned.

to support
Hi,

I write markdown with mathjax or latex for math in other editor since your app is not stable enough.
What I want is when import a markdown file with math , the app can recognize the math blocks and inline math. is it possible? Or you can only write math within the app?

the status of the app should be beta 0.1 rather than an app charging more than 0 dollar.

OK! so the app can import from a md file with piles of math inlines and blocks. What does the app support for recognizing math? $..$ and $..$ are not supported, but what else? ( ) ?

The idea is good but the app now is unacceptable and unusable. The support and feedback here is in trouble. The developer cannot help usually for problems most recently. I have decided to put it up and go back to markdown and Latex.

Thanks,

Hi
I have wrote markdown files with mathjax latex equations. After I import them, the $inline equation$ and$math block$ can't be recognized as equations but shown as equation properly.

Can we just recognize them by $and$ $? Please answer the question. I found the same question asked almost 1 year ago but no answer. posted in Comments & Feedback read more • C Charlie Has this been solved? I found it not solved yet. @DrJJWMac said: I have a LaTeX equation in my LaTeX text document. For example \delta_r x_j \equiv \delta x_j / {x_j} I copied the LaTeX text to Manuscripts. The equation displays in-line. I selected the equation and pasted it to the equation editor. I get this \delta_r x_j \equiv \delta x_j / {x_j}$

Certain codes are "escaped".
Thanks for pointing this out – looks like we are escaping some characters in a way that we need to adjust. We'll do our best to fix.

So it is almost not usable in a stable way. I don't suggest the developer put major effort to add more functions . Instead, should focus on making the app stable and reducing the crashes to a lowest level. posted in Comments & Feedback read more • C Charlie I like it because it saved me when have to submit my proposal on last day! But it also crashed several times and I had had to save it quite often. All in all, I like it very much! Hopefully, it won't crash and be robust! posted in Comments & Feedback read more • C Charlie 1.40 installation failed. posted in Comments & Feedback read more • C Charlie Thanks. I closed the app and restarted it to get everything ok. When will we can write$..\$ to add inline ?
