Hi Manuscripts,
The symbols are not retained upon saving. I had observed this in the earlier versions also. Please address this issue. Overall its been a nice experience.

@kurthkoti are you saying this issue is hitting you with the 1.0.0 version? It's a bug in some of the earlier beta versions leading up to 1.0 but it would be news if it is there still. Could you send us an example document demonstrating the issue, please?
