@mz2 Thanks for your response!
We don't need full localization as we have no problem with the interface being in English, but it sure would be ideal to be able to customize the labels as you mentioned.
As for the board/table use case: boards are a type of table but for use with descriptive or schematic content instead of statistical data. This difference is defined in the thesis and dissertation presentation guide of the University of São Paulo for several areas (public health in this case).
I know that other universities and journals also use this distinction, surely in Brazil, but I believe also in other countries, so it wouldn't be a specific feature to my case.
Nice to know that you have already begun thinking on this feature for chemistry structures, I believe other areas will also benefit from such a feature!
My wife has downloaded Manuscripts today and we were testing it tonight and it seems like a nice app for her to finish writing her dissertation.
One thing that we haven't figured out is that the tables and figure names can't be edited and as we are in Brazil we need for the Tables to be named "Tabela 1" instead of "Table 1" for example. We can edit the section names and can input the captions correctly, but not the Table/Figure names.
Another thing is that here we have 2 sets of tables with different uses called Quadros (boards) and Tabelas (tables). These are numbered independently so you can have a document with Tabela 1, Tabela 2, Quadro 1, Tabela 3, Quadro 2, etc. Is it possible to create a different set of tables and name each set in a different way?
One last thing that we haven't tried yet: is it possible to place the Table and Figure names on top of the table/figure instead of at the bottom?
Congratulations on the nice app! Hope you keep always improving it!
