Will I have to pay for the major updates as it happens with Papers?

@Tiago we have no major paid updates in sight anytime soon. It is possible that eventually we would deliver a major version upgrade with a new license cost, like happened with Papers and with most of the commercial software out there sold as one-time license purchases. What I can say is that if we were to make a major version upgrade that is paid, existing customers will be rewarded with substantial discounts in all cases we possibly can -- that's a model I feel personally very strongly myself as a customer for many indie software products I support.

Just to double clarify, all 1.x updates are free ('minor updates' in case the term is unclear for anyone reading). We intend to keep delivering minor updates at a regular pace to deliver both new functionality and polishing the existing functionality. Some of the possible upcoming functionality is discussed already on other threads, a lot of it we expect to be rather delightful surprises.
