I didn't use Manuscripts for about 2 month because of stability and dissatisfaction of the app. However, I'm still not satisfying this app. here is something I feels. (I sent crucial crashing bug already)
- I think this app has huge deadlock problem. It hangs too often. I have to force quit using Activity Monitor. When I see console log, I found that 2 threads always waiting semaphore like this.

Sometimes equation editor (equation & inline equation) block its contents. I think it has to move down when multiple equation line has been written.

caret problem! I don't know why sometimes pressing cmd + -> or cmd + <- are not working properly with inline equation. caret goes to starting point of document not just ahead of this line especially inline equation is first character of the line

Please change shortcut of inline equation. Too many keys needed. How about cmd + control + I?

When trying to select block including equation, Manuscripts always contain some part of previous paragraph. Could I just select equation only? cmd+-> and cmd + <- doesn't work with selection including equation

Could I just copy & paste single inline equation? Inline equation disappear when pasting

Copy & paste crashing is well known. I already mentioned about deadlock problem No. 1.

Could I move multiple selection of equations & paragraph in outline view? Only single paragraph or equation could be moved.
I think most problem is related to equation & inline equation. I used MS word, Latex, Lyx already and choose Manuscripts because it has better UI than Lyx but seems easier to write equation like Lyx.
For writing equation , MS word offers best experience but it lacks formatting option, lack of symbol, and crash problem (most important thing because why I abandoned MS word)
Tex has good stability because it doesn't compile real-time, but too many time needed to debug and too complex
Lyx has easier to write equations and good stability, but UI is not good document setting is so confusing like Tex. Moreover, it is hard to manage document structure like Manuscripts.
I think you'd better learn how Lyx works with equation. I usually use this app as document some program or take a note from professor's lecture. Taking a note needs some speed and smooth experience, because my ears & brain need to busy not only hands. Then, please make good flow with equation.
Even though I already disappointed this app, I'm still a huge supporter. This idea is brilliant. I expect this app can achieve huge success like Papers for many researchers. Please leave me a supporter.
