Manuscripts allows you to create citations with multiple citation items.
To cite multiple sources
- Place the text insertion caret next to the citation you want to append to.
- Bring up your citation tool of choice (either the in-app citation tool or Magic Citations).
- Choose the items you want to cite and enter them. In case of Magic Citations, you can simply search again after having pressed Enter to filter items for a multiple citation.
To add sources to an existing citation
- Place the text insertion caret next to the citation you want to append to (either before or after it will both work).
- Bring up your citation tool of choice (either the in-app citation tool or Magic Citations).
- Insert the citation, and it appears at the end of the existing citation.

To edit (and remove from) a citation with multiple sources
To edit a citation with multiple entries, right-click the citation and use the left and right arrow buttons to navigate between items, and the "Delete" button to drop any unwanted sources.
